Nimesh Patel Board - Chair/CEO

Nimesh Patel is an experienced technology entrepreneur with a background in property and technology. With 30 years of experience, he has successfully raised £50 million and led two IPOs. Nimesh sold billions in homes and created a leading estate agency group in the UK before transitioning into technology. He has also served as a board member for various public and private companies in the UK, Canada, and Australia. Nimesh is the founder and CEO of Kabuni on a mission to unlock the design potential in every human being and elevate life.

Adrien Tharin - Chief Legal Officer

Adrien Tharin is an accomplished professional in the financial industry with extensive expertise in compliance, anti-money laundering, and risk management, particularly focusing on digital assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum. He contributed to various articles and conferences on the topic of digital assets. Previously, Adrien was a partner at PwC, leading the Regulation and Digital Asset division. He has recently joined SAMpatee as the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) to build out its legal and regulatory structure.

Patrick Badenoch - Chief Investment Officer

Patrick brings over 20 years of experience in financial markets to the table. He began his career at Schroders Investment Management, where he managed credit portfolios for Pension funds. In 2007, he transitioned to Bluemountain Capital, a US credit hedge fund, where he successfully built and led an investment team managing over a billion dollars in assets. This team successfully navigated both the Great Financial Crisis of 2008 and the Eurozone crisis of 2011, constructing portfolios of different assets and financial instruments that mitigated the downside risks while delivering strong returns. Patrick has since held similar roles at Bluecrest and Millennium Capital.

Ron Davis Director Of Asset Acquisitions

Ron Davis draws on over 30 years of experience, knowledge, and commercial awareness gained within the property services sector. Prior to joining SAMpatee, Ron worked at corporate agencies such as Halifax, Haarts, and Woolwich Property Services, as well as independent property services firms. He has an extensive background in managing end-to-end property development projects and transactions, as well as consulting for clients on property improvements before going to market. Ron’s passion for property has led to several appearances on the BBC’s "Homes Under the Hammer" and public talks with the Progressive Property Network on understanding the mechanics of property development and investment.
